Rite Aid: How to buy $20 worth for $5.72 and get back $5!

As my regular readers know, Rite Aid recently changed their +UP Reward system, so I had to change how I did $5 Scenarios. Well, since I had to make my emergency exit, then Blog move... my series has been interrupted, so, with these facts as well as having many NEW readers(Welcome by the way!) I am going to start this week as if we all have no previous +Up Rewards....

Many of you do so may choose to alter the scenarios, as always I'm happy to help if you want or need :-)

For all new Readers, a $5 Scenario(or series of scenarios) is an example of 1 or more transactions you can do getting maximum product for minimum, in this case around $5, out of Pocket! I DO NOT count deposits or tax in the total as these vary state to state. Each week we TRY to have some +UP Rewards left over, to keep next weeks out of pocket even lower, allowing for MORE purchases still staying under $5 :-)

Buy 2 L’eggs Trouser Socks $3.49 each
Total = $5.24
Use the $5 +UP Reward from Transaction #2
Pay $.24 plus tax
Get a $5 +Up Reward when you buy 2
Save this Reward for next week!

If you follow this scenario, you will have 6 pairs of socks (or more if you go for a different similarly priced package) and will have spent $5.72 for  $20.94 worth of product AND you got back $5 in store money to use on next weeks purchases!
